Problem
Managing multiple SIMs has long been a frustrating and inefficient experience for users. Without a dedicated app, users had to access the website to manage their lines, often logging out and back in every time they switched between SIMs, even when all lines belonged to the same account holder. This slows down everyday tasks and creates confusion about which line is being managed.
Insights
Research and user interviews revealed a strong demand for speed, clarity, and control. Users want to quickly access balances and usage, recognize each SIM at a glance, and manage all lines seamlessly.
During onboarding we introduced profile customization for the first time. Users can now choose an illustration and assign a nickname to each SIM, a capability that did not exist before and that immediately improves recognition and differentiation across multiple lines.
The new My SIMs screen enables efficient switching between profiles directly from the Profile section. Here, users can clearly see the illustration, nickname and phone number associated with the SIM they are currently viewing. By tapping Change, they can select another account from the list.
When switching, a logout is triggered at a system level, yet the app securely stores the credentials in order to enable a future seamless re access to the selected profile. This preserves the original User ID and password structure while ensuring a fluid and interruption free experience.
Users can also personalize their SIMs at any time by editing the nickname and illustration directly from the Profile section. This empowers users to continually refine how they distinguish and manage their lines, reinforcing clarity and control across multiple accounts.
